Celebrity Wedding ~ Solange Knowles

Happy Monday everyone!

You would have to have been under a rock not to have heard that Beyonce's little sister, Solange Knowles (28) was married this weekend to her long time beau, video director, Alan Ferguson (51). The wedding was held in New Orleans, Louisiana with 200 of their closest family and friends including her son Danielle Julez (10), her Mom Tina Knowles, Beyonce' and Jay-Z along with baby Blue Ivy.

Wedding Details:  Love that the couple decided to set the trend instead of sticking with the traditional aspects of everyday weddings.  The couple along with all of their guest wore all white, the couple had no ordinary limousine, instead they arrived to the ceremony riding vintage white-painted bicycles. I will have to say the wedding portraits also were a tad unorthodox too and love it. My favorite is the all-female family tableau.

Solange walked down the aisle to Donny Hathaway's, I Love the Lord, He Heard My Cry. There were performances by Kelela, Questlove, and Kindness - and an adorable dance-off between Knowles and her son Daniel to "No Flex Zone".

Simply Lavish Real Wedding: Darci & David | Four Seasons

Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today we are sharing our latest wedding with college sweethearts Darci & David. After seven years of courtship, David wanted to make it official.

Color Palette:  Taupe, Pink and Gold

The Scene:  The couple wanted a traditional Jewish wedding that would take place in the hotel's courtyard. Darci was escorted by her father and mother while Canon in D played. The two said "I D" under Chuppah adorned in white linen and white roses.  Afterwards the couple's 170 wedding guest moved into the ballroom where soft creams, taupe, golds, and pinks anchored the traditional reception.

Bridal Attire:  Darbi wore a stunning gown by Monique Lhuillier that had a delicate beaded bodice and she complimented the gown with silver Christian Louboutin heels.  Her bridesmaids wore navy Monique Lhullier bridesmaid gowns with sweetheart necklines.

Groom's Attire:  David wore Hugo Boss tuxedo and his David Yurman cufflinks which were a gift from Darci.
