Fantastic Find Friday ~Brooch Bouquets

Brooch Bouquets

Brooch Bouquets are becoming such the hot new trend for brides looking for an alternative for carrying flowers. Some brides choose alternatives because of allergies, for environmental reasons, others as a cost saving measure, and some people just love the idea of something so unique.

What makes them so amazing? The bouquets are made by using brooches, pins, earrings, lockets, rings, pearls, trinkets, feathers, anything your heart desires really.   If there is something that has a special meaning to the Bride and/or family, this is where you would want to include it. You can think of it as the bride’s life in her bouquet.

I love this trend because it is totally customizable and they are very emotional everlasting works of art. You can even dismantle your bouquet and use your brooch/pin/earring again.  Even better, this is a bouquet that can be passed down to your daughter or anyone else special to you.

The bouquets can be made to stand alone meaning just your special items only or those special pieces can be strategically placed in a bouquet with preserved flowers.

DeVonda’s Tips:
§      You can remember loved ones that have passed away by adding their piece of jewelry to your bouquet or a picture of them in a locket.

§      Your brooch bouquet can become a valued decoration for your home

The original creator of the Vintage Brooch Bouquet is Amanda Jane Heer, a Professional Floral Designer/Stylist/Artist. She first introduced the brooch bouquet to the internet Sept 2005. The very first brooch bouquet she created was for her very own wedding 12 years ago She later passed it on to her daughter for her wedding. That bouquet is still in perfect condition today.

Here are some beautiful versions of brooch bouquets.  Take a peak and GET INSPIRED!
