Congratulations to Toya &. Mickey “Memphitz” Wright
This week, we had the pleasure of witnessing yet another beautiful celebrity wedding. BET aired on the reality show Toya: A Family Affair Show finale, Toya Carter’s (rapper Lil’Wayne’s ex-wife) dream wedding. The couple had a beautiful outdoor wedding in Atlanta, under a tent, which was draped beautifully. We saw that her wedding planner almost had to go to Plan B due to their day being threatened by bad weather. However, the groom, Memphitz believed in his heart of hearts the weather would clear up and he spoke into existence!
This is why I’m not a fan of outdoor weddings, because you have to deal with the elements. I feel about outdoor weddings the way David Tutera feels about green dresses in weddings. We’re not a fan but we’ll make it work if it’s a must.
I’ll admit I got a little teary-eyed once Toya stepped out of the car. The gown she wore was drop dead gorgeous. (Details & full pic of the gown is still being kept under wraps.)
When Memphitz got a glimpse of his bride approaching the aisle all you saw were tears streaming down his face which in turn made Toya cry. It truly was a beautiful moment.
The wedding colors were purple and white.
