REAL WEDDING WEDNESDAY: Erykah & Ricky

After three years of long distance loving, this couple was ready to tie the knot. To make their wedding day even more memorable they decided to make their wedding theme on something they love—the Harlem Renaissance movement of the 1920s and early 1930s, an exciting time in America where jazz music exploded. Share their love.

Say Yes To The Dress..
A lovely tiered gown, found in a bridal shop in Ontario, Canada

I do love this dress by Pronovias

Erykah arrived in a vintage styled Rolls Royce

Groom looking rather dapper

and to seal it with a KISS!!

The bride had all her ladies wear loose finger waves & curls,
smokey eyes, and lots of bling

I absolutely love this picture. Very unique!

In line with the wedding theme, all male attendants wore
bow ties, blue velvet jackets

Reception tables were named after notable people
from that era's movement

This square three-tier white fondant cake with a gorgeous 1930s-style feather motif took our breath away.

What a beautiful portrait
